Latest information from Rush Health contracted Health Plans

In support of the Rush Health membership’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Rush Health has reached out to our major contracted health plans to discern the COVID-19 initiatives they are putting in place for seamless access to care for our patients. It is important that payers work to ensure that the right care is being provided in the right setting, keeping the patient’s health and well–being first and foremost in these efforts.

Each health plan has provided us with the initiatives they have in place which includes specific details regarding extending telehealth to their members as well as access for diagnostic testing and treatment related to COVID-19. Please review each document to find the services and codes that are being covered.

Rush Health members can obtain the formal policies from our secure site here. While most health plans are extending coverage for telehealth and virtual visits, it still remains important to check patient’s eligibility and benefits.
